Before You Start
Every inbound shipment arrives with a manifest listing the expected SKUs and quantities. Open the shipment in the warehouse console so you can verify items as you unload.
Check-in and Verify
- Scan the inbound shipment barcode to open it.
- Scan each item or carton as you unload it.
- The system compares your scans against the manifest in real time.
- Flag any shortage, overage, or damaged item immediately.
Putaway
After verification, the console suggests a storage location for each SKU. Scan the location barcode when you place the stock so inventory stays accurate and pickable.
Important: Do not store unverified or damaged stock as sellable. Route damaged items to the incident flow so they are not picked for customer orders.
