A customer orders two units of Colombian Coffee Beans 250g from Ahmad Home Goods as a MARKET item: Ahmad stores the goods, Fawran collects and delivers. Here is order ORD-284551 from the moment it lands to the moment the customer signs for it.
Starting point
The order appears in Orders under the New Orders tab with item status NEW and fulfillment type Market. The “Needs action” strip counts it under Awaiting approval. Ahmad’s job in MARKET ends at one signal: marking the item ready for Fawran’s pickup. Everything after that is done by the captain and the warehouse and shown to him read-only.

Steps
- Approve. Ahmad clicks Approve — the item moves
NEW→PROCESSING. - Prepare. He picks the two coffee bags, packs them protectively, and keeps the parcel at his handover point.
- Mark ready. He clicks Ready for Pickup. The item becomes
READY_FOR_PICKUPand the readiness signalSELLER_READY_FOR_DISPATCHgoes to Fawran’s pickup system. This is the last transition Ahmad performs. - Handover. A captain is assigned and drives over; at the door the captain scans the shipment — Ahmad never scans anything himself. The panel shows pickup confirmed.
- Warehouse leg. The parcel travels to the Fawran warehouse, is received by scan, prepared, and dispatched to the customer. Ahmad follows it all read-only until
DELIVERED.
What you should see
The prep status milestones, in the order they appear from Ahmad’s viewpoint:
Between those, the panel may also pass through CAPTAIN_ASSIGNMENT_PENDING, CAPTAIN_ACCEPTED, CAPTAIN_EN_ROUTE_TO_SELLER, CAPTAIN_ARRIVED_AT_SELLER, WAITING_HANDOVER, IN_TRANSIT_TO_WAREHOUSE, READY_FOR_SHIPPING and ASSIGNED_TO_OUTBOUND — all captain/warehouse territory, none of them requiring seller action.
A common mistake
Approving the order and preparing the parcel — but never clicking Ready for Pickup. “Ready for Dispatch” is the signal Fawran’s pickup system waits for: until Ahmad marks the item ready, no captain is sent, no matter how long the parcel sits packed by the door.
When to contact support
MARKET usually needs no support at all. Open a ticket only if the read-only chain misbehaves — for example, pickup confirmed but the panel never advances, or the app shows “No Market shipment is linked to this order yet. Please contact support.” Use Support›New Ticket → Shipping & Fulfillment → MARKET Shipping Issue and include the order number and the current prep status.
