Registering and listing on Fawran are free. You pay only when you sell, and every fee is deducted from your sales proceeds — no invoices, no upfront payments. This guide explains each fee’s structure; the amounts themselves live on the live pricing page below, read straight from Fawran’s financial configuration.

The three fulfilment models

FBF — Fulfilled by Fawran
You send stock to a Fawran warehouse; Fawran stores, packs, delivers and handles returns. Fees: referral commission + fulfilment fee per unit sold + storage while units sit in the warehouse, plus incidental fees.
MARKET — you hold the stock, Fawran delivers
Fawran collects the packed parcel from you and delivers it. Fees: referral commission + ONE MARKET logistics fee per shipment.
FBS — you fulfil and ship
Fawran is the marketplace and payment rail. Fees: referral commission only.

Referral commission

A percentage of the item’s selling price, charged when the order is delivered, varying by category / sub-category and by fulfilment model. On an accepted return it is reversed in proportion to the refunded amount. The live page has a searchable matrix of every category rate.

MARKET logistics fee — one fee per shipment

Important

Same order + same MARKET store = ONE MARKET shipment = ONE logistics fee. However many products or units are inside. Product A × 2, Product B × 1, Product C × 3 from the same store in one order is one shipment and one fee — not six, not three. Products from a second store in the same order form a second shipment with its own fee.

Chargeable weight = the greater of the packed parcel’s actual weight and its dimensional weight, where dimensional weight = length × width × height (cm) ÷ 5000. Example: a 40 × 30 × 20 cm carton is 4.8 kg dimensional; if it actually weighs 2 kg, 4.8 kg is charged. The logistics measurement taken at receipt takes precedence over what you declared.

A shipment is Standard when it stays within the Standard weight and three side limits, and Oversized when it exceeds any of them; each class has its own weight bands, and extra kilograms are charged per started kilogram. The fee is charged when the shipment is delivered and is not reversed on a return.

FBF fees

  • Fulfilment (outbound) fee — per unit sold, multiplied by quantity, from the unit’s size and chargeable weight and its selling-price column.
  • Inbound (receiving) fee — see the live page for the current inbound schedule.
  • Storage — per cubic foot per month, billed for sellable, unsellable and long-term inventory in the warehouse.
  • Incidental — inbound rejection, Fawran pickup of an inbound shipment, removal (collect yourself or delivered to you), disposal.

Returns, cancellations and other charges

  • Return management fee — a flat amount when a customer return is accepted; the referral commission is reversed proportionally, while fulfilment / MARKET logistics fees are not.
  • Seller cancellation penalty — when you cancel an order item the customer did not cancel.
  • Penalties, warranty, retention and miscellaneous charges — case-based; families configured at zero are shown as “not charged today” on the live page.

The customer’s delivery fee

The delivery fee the customer pays at checkout is not a seller fee: it is held for you until the return window closes, then released to your available balance; it goes to Fawran only if a return in the same group is completed.

ℹ️Note

Every charged fee is itemised in the Finance area of your seller dashboard. All fees are exclusive of VAT.
