You choose a fulfillment model when you add a product to inventory. It decides who holds your stock, who delivers to the customer, how much you do, and when the product becomes buyable.

How each one feels day to day
When your product goes live
This is the wording the platform shows you when you save a product: MARKET/FBS β βadds the product to inventory and declares the available quantity, then it becomes buyable immediately.β FBF β βcreates a supply request and ships the inventory to a Fawran warehouse, and it becomes buyable after the warehouse receives the goods.β
You can use different models for different products. Many sellers start with MARKET or FBS to go live fast, then move best-sellers to FBF to cut their daily workload.
Choosing FBF for a product you need selling today. FBF only becomes buyable after the warehouse physically receives your inbound shipment β plan for that lead time.
