Order, Pricing and Availability Policy
How an order is priced and accepted, and what happens if a price or stock level turns out to be wrong.
1. Purpose#
This policy explains how your Order is priced, how availability is checked, and what happens when a price turns out to be wrong or stock runs out after you have checked out.
2. Currency and amounts#
2.1 Prices are displayed and amounts collected in Jordanian Dinars (JOD).
2.2 The Jordanian Dinar is a three-decimal currency (1 JOD = 1000 fils). Your order amounts are computed in whole fils, not in floating-point decimals, so no rounding difference can arise at any stage.
2.3 If you pay by card and your card is denominated in another currency, your card issuer may convert at its own rate and fees. Those are its charges, not ours — see the Payment Policy.
3. How your order amount is calculated#
3.1 Calculation happens on our server at the moment of checkout, not on your device. Altering what appears on screen does not change what is actually computed.
3.2 The amount is made up of:
| Component | How it is determined |
|---|---|
| Item value | Each Item's price as recorded in the Seller's listing at the moment of checkout × quantity |
| Applicable tax | Calculated on the Item value and shown as its own line in the order summary |
| Delivery fees | Calculated per shipment group, under the Shipping and Delivery Policy |
| Discounts | Coupons and offers applied, under the Promotions, Coupons and Credits Policy |
3.3 The order summary before you confirm shows every one of those lines with its value. You are never asked to confirm a total without seeing what it is made of.
3.4 The amount shown when you confirm is the amount due. We add no fee afterwards without your agreement.
3.5 This satisfies your right under Article 3(A)(3) of the Consumer Protection Law No. (7) of 2017 to receive complete and clear information before completing the purchase about the obligations you will owe.
4. Tax#
4.1 The applicable tax is shown as its own line, with its value, in your order summary before you confirm.
4.2 Prices and taxes are subject to the tax legislation in force in the Kingdom; any legislative change is reflected in Orders placed after it takes effect.
5. Pricing errors#
5.1 Despite our controls, an Item can appear at an obviously wrong price.
5.2 If the displayed price is lower than the correct one:
- if the Order has not yet been accepted (the Item has not been shipped or allocated for delivery), we may decline it. We tell you and offer you the correct price, or we cancel the Item and refund everything you paid for it in full.
- if the Order has been accepted and the Item shipped, the contract is formed. We do not ask you for the difference and we do not take the Item back.
5.3 If the displayed price is higher than the correct one: we charge the lower price, and refund you the difference if you have already paid the higher one.
5.4 What we do not do: we do not cancel an accepted Order simply because we later dislike the price, and we do not ask you for extra money after accepting the Order.
An “obvious error” is one an ordinary buyer would spot without effort — an item worth hundreds of dinars showing at one dinar. A large discount announced as part of a promotion is not an error, and it binds us.
6. Availability#
6.1 What you see on the Item page is a point-in-time estimate. Stock changes constantly, and someone else may buy the same Item at the same moment.
6.2 The final availability check happens at checkout, before the Order is accepted and before any amount is collected, by actually reserving the quantity.
6.3 If an Item sells out between the moment you added it to your cart and the moment you check out, we tell you at checkout and do not accept that Item.
6.4 If an Item turns out to be unavailable after the Order was accepted, for an exceptional reason (warehouse damage, a stock-count error):
- we tell you as soon as possible;
- we cancel that Item and refund everything you paid for it, together with the delivery fee attributable to it if no other Item remains in that shipment;
- and we do not substitute a different Item without your agreement.
6.5 We do not guarantee the continued availability of a particular Item or that a particular Seller will keep offering it.
7. Quantities#
7.1 We may set a maximum quantity for a particular Item, to keep distribution fair and to limit buying for resale.
7.2 The limit is shown on the Item page or when it is exceeded in the cart.
7.3 We may decline an Order or reduce its quantity where it appears to be in commercial quantities or for resale, under the Terms of Sale and the Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Item descriptions and images#
8.1 The Seller is responsible for the accuracy of an Item's name, description, specifications and images.
8.2 Colours on your screen may differ slightly from reality because of display settings. That in itself is not a defect.
8.3 But where the description does not match the Item received in a material respect, that falls under Article 6(A) of the Consumer Protection Law No. (7) of 2017, which treats a good as defective where it does not conform to the advertised characteristics or does not achieve the declared results. The route is in the Damaged, Defective, Wrong or Missing Products Policy.
8.4 Article 8 of the same Law prohibits publishing any advertisement that misleads the consumer or leads them into error about the nature, quality, composition or essential characteristics of the good, its source, its expiry date, the conditions or warnings for its use, or the contract terms, total price and method of payment.
9. Changing an Order after you place it#
9.1 An Order's contents cannot be changed after it is placed — no adding an Item, no changing a quantity, no swapping one Item for another.
9.2 The reason is that, once placed, the Order enters an automated preparation path that reserves stock and plans shipments.
9.3 What to do instead: cancel what can be cancelled under the Cancellation Policy, then place a new Order.
9.4 Changing the delivery address after placing the Order: contact support immediately. We try while the shipment has not gone out for delivery, without guaranteeing it.
10. Version history#
| Version | Date | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| 1.0 | 26 July 2026 | Initial publication. A new document: there was no published statement of how the price is calculated, or of how pricing errors and post-purchase stock-outs are handled. |
