Shipping and Delivery Policy
Delivery fees by fulfilment model, how shipments are split, and when risk passes to you.
1. Who delivers your Order#
| Fulfilment model | Who delivers |
|---|---|
| FBF — Fulfilled by Fawran | Fawran, via a delivery Captain |
| MARKET | Fawran, via a delivery Captain |
| FBS — Fulfilled by Seller | The Seller |
The model appears on the Item page and in your order details. The division of roles is set out in the Marketplace and Third-Party Seller Terms.
1.1 Where the table says Fawran, the party arranging and performing delivery is FAWRAN LLC, which operates the FAWRAN marketplace under the trade name FAWRAN and acts here as fulfilment coordinator — it stores, picks, packs and delivers, and it does so without becoming the seller of the Item.
1.2 Deliveries are made from Fawran's operating warehouses in Jordan. The company's registered office shown at the foot of this document is an address of record in its state of formation; nothing is shipped from it, nothing is returned to it, and it is not a warehouse.
2. ★ Delivery fees#
2.1 Delivery fees are calculated per shipment group, not once per Order.
2.2 FBF Items#
Delivery is free. No minimum, no conditions.
2.3 MARKET and FBS Items#
The fee is calculated on the value of the Items in the shipment group:
| Value of the group's Items | Delivery fee |
|---|---|
| Under JOD 20 | JOD 2 |
| JOD 20 up to under JOD 60 | JOD 1 |
| JOD 60 and above | Free |
2.4 How shipment groups are formed#
| Model | How Items are grouped |
|---|---|
| FBF | Items from the same warehouse form one group |
| MARKET | Items from the same Seller form one group |
| FBS | Each Item is its own group |
This explains something that can look odd: one Order can carry more than one delivery fee. If you buy from three different Sellers in the MARKET model, that is three shipment groups, each with its own fee calculated on its own value. The order summary shows you each group and its fee before you confirm.
2.5 A “free delivery” coupon may remove these fees, under the Promotions, Coupons and Credits Policy.
3. Splitting an Order into shipments#
3.1 Your Order may arrive in more than one shipment and at different times, if it contains Items from different Sellers, under different fulfilment models, or from different warehouses.
3.2 This is not an error. Order tracking shows each shipment and its status separately.
3.3 A separate contract of sale arises for each shipment, under the Terms of Sale.
4. Address and setting your location#
4.1 The accuracy of your address is the single biggest factor in a successful delivery.
4.2 At checkout you can:
- type the address;
- pick it from autocomplete;
- or set the point on the map, or press “use my current location”.
4.3 Setting the point on the map reduces the chance of error considerably, especially in areas where street descriptions are similar.
4.4 Add a description that helps the Captain (floor number, building colour, nearest landmark).
4.5 How your location data is processed is set out in the Privacy Policy, section 3.3. We do not track your location in the background.
5. Delivery times#
5.1 An estimated delivery time is shown at checkout and in your order details.
5.2 An estimate is an estimate. It is affected by the fulfilment model, the location of the Seller or warehouse, your address, order volumes, and circumstances beyond control.
5.3 We do not guarantee a specific delivery hour unless that is expressly stated for a particular Item or service.
5.4 Article 4(c) of the Consumer Protection Law No. (7) of 2017 obliges the supplier to deliver the good within the agreed period or the customary period without delay. Article 6(B)(1) treats delay beyond that period as a breach of contractual obligations.
5.5 If your Order is delayed beyond what is ordinary, contact us; the escalation path is in the Customer Complaints and Escalation Policy.
6. Tracking your shipment#
6.1 You follow each shipment's status in order details, and you receive notifications when the status changes.
6.2 When the shipment goes out for delivery, the Captain may contact you to coordinate handover.
7. The moment of handover#
7.1 The Order is handed to you or to a person present at the delivery address who appears authorised to receive it.
7.2 On handover, risk in the Item passes to you, under the Terms of Sale, section 7.
7.3 You — or whoever receives on your behalf — may be asked to confirm receipt.
7.4 Your right to check at the door is set out in the Cash on Delivery Policy, section 5, and in the Large, Heavy and Special-Handling Products Policy for Items that warrant a fuller inspection.
8. Packaging#
8.1 In the FBF model, Fawran packs for shipment.
8.2 In MARKET and FBS, the Seller does.
8.3 Keep the original packaging until you are sure you are keeping the Item; it may be needed for a return, under the Returns Policy.
9. Coverage#
9.1 Checkout tells you whether we deliver to the address you selected.
9.2 If it is outside the coverage area, the Order will not be accepted to that address, and you can choose another.
9.3 Coverage changes as the network expands; the reference is what checkout shows you, not any general statement.
10. Failed delivery#
Has its own document: the Delivery Attempts, Refusal and Failed-Delivery Policy.
11. Large and heavy Items#
Has its own document: the Large, Heavy and Special-Handling Products Policy.
12. Version history#
| Version | Date | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| 1.0 | 26 June 2026 | Initial publication. |
| 2.0 | 26 July 2026 | The delivery fee bands actually applied are now published; the shipment-grouping rule and why one Order can carry several fees are explained; free delivery in the FBF model is stated; failed delivery and large Items separated into their own documents. |
| 2.1 | 26 July 2026 | The delivering party identified as FAWRAN LLC acting as fulfilment coordinator; recorded that deliveries are made from Fawran’s operating warehouses in Jordan and that the registered office is neither a warehouse nor a despatch or return point. A clarification of an identity that has always applied; no right or obligation is changed and the effective date is unchanged. |
